The Alexis Hotle in Seattle, WA is proud to offer seven art-themed suites, each sponsored by a local Pacific Northwest cultural institution, with interior décor to match.

The Alexis Hotel, Seattle’s prize boutique hotel in the heart of downtown, is already well known for its outstanding art collection. But to further distinguish itself from other hotels in the Emerald City, the Alexis offers a selection of seven dedicated art-themed hotel rooms. 10% of each room’s fees are returned to that room’s sponsored organization.

Author’s Suite

This suite’s theme is literature and includes a cosy wood-burning fireplace, perfect for curling up with a good read. With a vast collection of books ranging from best sellers to the classics, including signed copies of Joan Anderson’s “An Unfinished Marriage”, Micholas Dawidoff’s “The Fly Swatter”, and Naomi Wolf’s “Misconceptions”. This room also includes a jetted bathtub - possibly equally as tempting a place as fireside from which to read. A perfect complement to the hotel’s “Library Bistro” and “Bookstore Bar”.

Canlis Glass Suite

This premier suite is a colourful and vibrant room, inspired by local master glass artist, John-Pierre Canlis. His hand-blown glass works are rich and creative and decorate the walls of this 700 square foot suite. Life-size photos, depicting Canlis at work in this studio, also grace the walls of this artistic room. This suite includes a luxurious king-size bed, spacious L-shaped couch and grand 40-inch flat-screen HD television.

Seattle Art Museum Suite

This one-bedroom suite will make you feel as if you’re in an artist’s studio. Featuring actual artwork from the Seattle Art Museum, all hand-selected by curator Barbara Shaiman, this room makes guests feel as if they live in a gallery. This suite includes a dining table, powder room, exposed brick walls, skylights and jacuzzi tub.

Seattle Asian Art Museum Suite

It’s all about zen-living in this suite. Step into this one-bedroom suite and feel the stresses of city chaos melt away. The Asian artwork is inspired by pieces in the northwest, which exude a sense of calm and serenity. This luxury suite includes a powder room, a wet bar and a spacious balcony that overlooks the courtyard.

Pacific Northwest Ballet Suite

This executive suite will sweep you into the rarified world of professional dance. This suite provides intimate glimpses into the behind-the-scenes operations that keep this world-class company in perfect shape. Portraits line the walls, depicting intimate, candid moments of dancers, stage sets, rehearsals and performances. This suite includes a separate living room and dining area.

KMTT (The Mountain) Suite

This suite pays tribute to Seattle’s music scene, courtesy of KMTT, The Mountain, radio station. The room is adorned with momentos from some of the station’s greatest highlights. This suite also includes a seating area, small terrace, wet bar and entertainment system, perfect for entertaining.

Seattle Symphony Suite

This executive suite gives you a front-row seat to one of Seattle’s cultural gems. The splendor of this suite is complete with artistic, historical photos of behind-the-scenes, capturing world-class musicians with this world-class orchestra. This suite is complete with a spacious dining table, perfect for entertaining a small soirée before the show.
